Halloween 2014

We Love Halloween….. Elsa and Tom Brady were really cute this year!!!

 We enjoyed visiting family and trick or treating in Oxford this year.  The kids even made it through the famous Firehouse Haunted House!

All about my Bo

First of all, Bo is making excellent grades! At his parent-teacher conference, his teacher said he is really coming out of his shell and even enjoys speaking in front of the class some.

Are my kids the only ones who treat the grocery store like a playground??  I tried lots of different consequences but this was one they really hated. HA!

Bo had to create an Island and label all of the parts….he, of course, made Elephant Island.

He got to take his best friend, Matthew, to Oxford to see the Rebels play football and basketball!

For his birthday weekend he had a soccer tournament…..which his team won! And he scored a goal!

Then he got to invite some boys over on Sunday since JA was out of school on Monday.

Austin's Surprise Party

We had a great time at Austin's party. I can't believe I was able to keep it a secret…..I'm the one who says on Christmas eve "Let's go ahead and open presents". But I did keep quite and Austin was very surprised.

My Favorite Night

Tonight was one of my favorite nights ever with my sweet Lou.  She crawled into bed with me and asked me to find the "bless the Lord, oh my soul" song on my phone so she could sing it.  Once I pulled the video up she snuggled up to me and we sang as she tapped her foot against my leg.  

God is really working in this little girl's life!

Too fast

Time is going by too fast! I've realized too late that things with your children change too fast.  They grow too fast, they lose teeth too fast, they change from babies to toddlers to kids too fast. I think you don't recognize it with your first child as much as you do with your second (last) and then one day you wake up and your son's not a squishy little boy anymore.  Can anyone else understand how this little fella is about to turn 9?
